Peter Asselyn’s piece gave Jacques the chance to discuss bowl bottoms
Bill Powell’s bowl was so light and airy that Jacques began calling him The Thin Man.

Peter McCrea’s natural edge bowl got a “spot on” from Jacques.
As did the curve on this bowl from Mark Irving.
Asselyn’s oak (OAK!?!?) hollow form caught everyone’s attention.
Even Jacques’ own work failed to escape his scrutiny.
All present agreed that the piece was highly flawed and voted unanimously that Andy Hoyt should keep this one safe from further public view for all time.
Pony up, Bub.
