During a specially scheduled Saturday meeting this month, member Jacques Vesery stopped by for a while...
... and took us through a powerpoint presentation on the topic of “Elements of Good Design”.
Since still images from a slidesow can be somewhat tedious, I encourage all to grab a copy of the dvd and learn straight from the master himself.

And he also spent some time showing us how he prepares his paint palette and how it’s then applied to the piece.
Can you spell magnifique?
Here’s one of his works in progress (shown upside down).
Rather than remove an inclusion on the bottom, he chose to celebrate it with some very careful application of “temperature”.
Still another piece that was almost finished.
Yup. He is indeed pretty good at this stuff.
